Is it something we gotta get used to?

Istana performance today! I'm dirty and sticky and sitting on the floor so as not to contaminate my bed. Heh.

Hmm. Performance was okay, but it wasn't really... special. It felt like playing for some school event or something. I didn't get hyped up much, maybe because we only played something like five songs.

Hang on, I need to get a drink.

(It's best not to think about it, just put your arms around me)

Okay I'm back. Screwy internet actually deleted the continuation of the above, but thank goodness for Blogger's auto save thingy.

Um. I think I said I needed to be less childish. Yeah.

There was a lot of laughing today. And okay this worked better when I was writing this in my head just now...
Well, there was that time when Yilin and I were walking down the slope. Jessica and Michele were somewhere in front, and Jes walked backwards to tell us something, and for some reason one of us was struck by the brilliant idea to walk backwards down the slope. Because court shoes hurt. Especially downslope when your toes are being squished to the front, heh. And walking backwards really helped! YL and I were laughing madly while we walked down most of the slope, because we looked so stupid and everyone bypassed us, then a teacher came up to us and told us if we walked any slower than him he would step on our feet. Heh.
And Jes and I laughed a lot on the bus, I can't remember what we were laughing at though.
Oh yeah. Using my ipod as a mirror, dropping a clip (and passing a message up the bus to find it, only to realise it was in front of me), clipping clips on her, manipulating the aircon, finding innovative ways to wipe our hands after eating kueh, etc.
We were such bimbos today! Haha. There was the time when she was carrying part of the drumset out of the band room, only she was laughing so she couldn't carry it properly and I went to help her but we almost dropped it and I started laughing too and we probably made three steps before Guan Lin came and took it away from us. Heh. And the preening using my ipod screen. And the two of us trying to find the end of the wrapper on Jes's kueh but failing miserably. And stuff I have forgotten.

Um yes sorry this is really text intensive... I think I need to start writing in a journal again, I have too many words. Heh.

Yay for percussion section and the stupid things we do. (T. God jokes never get old!)

Another thing, I just want to say I'm glad that I have Jes and Mich, who have made life a lot more bearable for me. :)

Hmm

Okay I changed/ added a few links. If you want/ don't want your link there, just let me know.

Um, nothing much to say... Except if any of you hobos (you know who you are) see this (which you won't, which is why I will get around to messaging you guys sometime), give me dates when you are free. Because y'know, by the time we actually get around to going out, it'd be Gail's birthday we're celebrating. Heh.

Okay standard topic, school. It's quite alright I guess, though I'm very behind on my work. There's more band pracs for now, which makes me happy. Um, yeah.

Am going to watch Definitely, Maybe with Pam in a while, so I guess I should go do some homework...? Or something.

Miss you.

Queen's Thief

Look, I'm blogging again, and this time it's in honour of Megan Whalen Turner's awesome books. It's a series: The Thief, The Queen of Attolia and The King of Attolia. Just finished reading the last one and it was awesome. I think I'm in love with Eugenides. He's brilliant. And I have to say, the relationship between Gen and Attolia is so awesome. Beats practically every romance/ chick lit book I have read in my life. Probably every one. They're so subtle. And they make me happy the way Sonea and Akkarin did. ♥ Heh. I seriously hope there's more! Because I will be so awfully depressed if there are no sequels.

In other news, Jessica has lent me Sims FINALLY I GET MY HANDS ON IT (thank you even though I don't think you will find this) and so therefore I think I will be awfully distracted for a while. Also, I am back in love with books (I think what I'm craving for is more of the above mentioned, which means children/ young adult(?) fantasy with brilliant characters and character relationships and court politics (funny how I like court politics in books but hate politics in real life). Heh.) and I just copied down a whole list on a piece of foolscap and I have every intention of hunting them down.

And yes, I realise that was an awfully long sentence but the trick is to skip everything in the commas first then go back and read it after you get the main point. :D Have also realised that am very repetitive but it's just a blog post so I'm not going to bother to attempt to make myself sound nice. Heh.

Alright, I will stop spouting nonsense now.

Look, I blogged

I am sad. ): ): ): Sometimes, I am happy. (: But mostly, I am sad. ):

I hate it when everyone's moved on except me, but I'll just say it

I miss you guys horribly!

(______)
(That's a lot of people, and if you try, you could probably find your name inside.)

Okay enough. Uhhhh, tomorrow's the Slackest Day Ever. It's PE one hour, phototaking, then free period for countless hours before Assembly/ CT period, then school ends. Am looking forward to it, heh.

I also finished watching HanaKimi today (finally!). I think I got used to Sano's hair. That thought is so scary, because I still think it is ugly hair. But I actually kind of liked Sano at the end. Kagurazaka is hot(!) and Kayashima is so cute(!) and Nakatsu is completely !!!!!!!!!!!1 adorable. When he talks to himself and spits water and sneezes and wears a tux omg. Heh.

Um, that's all for the moment?

Happy New Year

Alright. Didn't like my previous post, so decided to put another one up for the heck of it.

I've got conflicted feelings about school, but it's alright in general. I miss being in a girls school, I miss my friends and I miss hanging around and doing nothing and meeting random people in the toilet. Also miss being able to sit however I liked.

Oh well, JC isn't that bad. I miss you guys and we'd better have that steamboat thing sometime!
